Problems updating adobe air
When developing applications with Adobe AIR, a vital feature is being able to push application updates to the end users.
As it’s quite hard to find complete examples from Adobe, I thought I’d offer you a script how to do it.
The problem is that most desktop computers were never set-up for sharing memory, resources or processor time; particularly when one considers that schools prefer low-end, low-preforming computers.
This error could be caused by a couple of things ...Without AIR, Touch Math Kindergarten will not run or install.AIR should install automatically (installing itself first and then the Touch Math Kindergarten application). AIR Installation failure can be reported as "The application could not be installed. If the problem persists, contact the application author.Please contact your administrator." And when I try to uninstall it via Control Panel I get this message: "An error occurred while uninstalling Adobe AIR. If the problem persists, contact the application author." (Windows Vista / Windows 7) This error can occur during installation if a standard or restricted user has turned off User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7 or Window Vista. Uninstallation may not be allowed by your administrator. Installing an Adobe AIR application displays the error message: "Sorry an error has occurred.
